I have a Case Bulldog knife that I inherited. It was in a box and I recently discovered it. I'd like to identify the year and any other information I can about the knife. The 'Handmade in U.S.A' is stamped on the blade and I don't see any 'dots' to pin point the year.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!!

Based on what I can see from your pics it reads as :
Case XX and then USA under it.
If so, that stamp was used from 1965 to 1970.

Thanks!

The Hand made in USA stamp is on the blade in addition to USA under the CASE XX, if that makes a difference.

Unless someone with far greater knowledge than mine comes forth such as Perry Miller - I'd say that makes no difference.
None of the blade stamped references that I have indicate the 'Hand made' thru 1970 stamped blades as being part of the official 'date' indication. If you think about it a bit - all of the Case knives were hand made.
The Bulldog was one of the more unusual offerings.

Thank you for your input! Its a very nice knife and not in mint condition. I may hang on to it and enjoy it.
