Yes David,,,That's it. I thought more folks visited this fixed blade forum and this knife is interesting and has historical significance. One of their employees was a certain WD Case...just for one note!

Case made their version of this Quartermaster knife. It was marked CASEXX.
The stimpled pommel was made for hammering. These knives were made like crowbars.
