Do any of you guys have one of these contraptions?

Invented & patented by a SCHOOLGIRL in New Zealand, it is sure handy if you have a fireplace or wood stove.

I highly recommend it!

Coach,
That is something else!! Really neat!!

Reminds me of a young schoolgirl up in Booneville,NY who invented the Otis gun cleaning system...………..the rest is pretty much history.

Coach,
That is very interesting.

Also good to have the unit on a chopping block. Makes things a lot easier.

Wayne:

The bucket shown is a "retired" dog water bucket. It won't hold water anymore.

I put the Kracker in the bucket and put the bucket on a piece of grate out on the back porch.

You don't have to hit it very hard so the kindling doesn't go flying. It sure beats using a hatchet or an axe to make kindling.

Hey Coach,
I’ve been thinking about getting one. Do you have the original or the larger one?

I've seen these hand-made, using an axe head and a (welded) chain for the top loop.

I wasn't aware that they were "a thing" outside of that.

Tony:

Mine is the original. Works great!

I pick out the smaller pieces of firewood and go to work on 'em.

I thought about getting a bigger one, but just have not.

Really good idea. So what if you welded an axe head to just a flat plate? Thinking about doing it.
