I believe I was interviewed for that article. Think that's correct.

It is interesting to see how the start of Randall Knives came about. If Mr.Randall did not see his friend using the Scagel knife scraping the bottom of a boat,we might not have any Randall Knives or club.

WW 2 was a big boost for three knife companies that I know of,Buck,Ek, and Randall.

Having a Randall Knife pretty well puts you in an exclusive club.

Can't have too many Randall Knives.

Hey Pap,

Thanks for the heads up. Just got a copy at Barnes & Noble!
-My Wife actually picked it up for me ...
(I love that they carry this mag in a store on the liberal
North Shore of Long Island!). grin

Wayne,

Actually, considering it's the NY Metro area and the North Shore of Nassau County,
there's quite a bit of "Us."And several clubs like mine, The Matinecock Rod & Gun Club
and Mill River Rod & Gun Club and Bayville Rod & Gun Club ...
all located on the North Shore. And there are more throughout Long Island.

We're keepin' the faith, Brother!

And YES, I enjoyed the article very much!
