OK everyone,
It's springtime and I am fixin' to get into "Fishin' Mode"! I may not know a lot about a lot of things, "but" (I know)...I do know a thing or 2 about fishing. I have fortunate to fish in many parts of the "Globe". Freshwater, Saltwater, Brackish water...all of it I have done and with some success. How about ya'll? Been fishing?
Being as it is the beginning of good fishing times, at least down here, I thought it might be fun to build a Randall knife, purposeful in the fishing department. What say you members?
The most recent build, won by Dirty Water, was limited to RKCC members. Not so with this build. If you are an active member of Knifetalkforums and wish to post up and assist in this build, you qualify! I am interested in finding out who might be interested in this type of a Randall knife and in this type of build. In other words, I am searching for advice from you folks and wondering what ideas you may have towards this build.
If there is no interest, I'll come up with something else for us to spend time and money on! Let me hear from you. ROLL CALL VOTE! Please vote for one of the below:
A) Hell yeah, Captain, let's build it!
B) No thanks, this one's not for me.
C) I'll play along, but my heart's not in it.
D) I would be more interested in a different type of build.
*NOTE: Many Randall knives are totally cool doing other tasks. It will be up to you to decide what we build and how it is configured. Please vote and let's get this thing done....or not?
Stay sharp, Capt. Chris
PS: One of my fishin' knives...CCS

I do not fish, but I bet WE could all work out a really great knife that could sserve well for multiple chores, like a #7 or something.
I vote A, he'll yeah let's build it!

Great idea for something different Capt!

A) Hell yeah, Captain, let's build it!

I "need" a new knife that will work equally well at breaking down the days catch as it does the many tasks required along hike in and setting up the hammock at camp.

Need materials that salt & blood won't mess up!
Like a SS blade & red spacers.
