I recently came across a Randall knife with what appears to be a "double strike" on the maker's mark. I'm familiar with what this does to a coin's value but I had always thought it reduced the value of a knife or gun that had the double strike.

Does anyone on here have an opinion on whether a double strike mark reduces the value of the knife?

Not reduced...just the opposite and it helps date a knife in many cases.
Hope this helps, Capt. Chris
