What Randalls would you get for a Kitchen Chef Set? I'd go with a full set of Micarta-Handled Model 10's in 3, 5 and 7 inches. Then there's "Keep them in their Sheaths" or "Put in a Nice Knife Block"? Add a Model 6 and a Stag-Handled Carving set? Isn't there a new "Chef Knife" Santuko-Style Blade? How about a Model 28 for heavier Kitchen Chores?

The new Randall Chef's knife is pretty hefty but much more versatile in the kitchen than I'd imagined. It can serve as a cleaver as well as a large knife.

Does the Chefs' Knife have a product number, is it a non-catalogued item and what's the list? Upo Next...trying to find one with a 6 year wait at which time I may only on soup if food prices keep rising!

Chef's knife is a new, non-catalog, model for this year. Price is $430.00 (if delivered this year). There will more than likely be a small price increase for next year. There are "no" options available to order. It comes just as you see it. Best, Capt. Chris
