Does anyone have a 5-5 with the sawteeth/no sawteeth grind and wouldn't mind posting a picture?

I'm not sure there is a ST/NST grind for the #5. I had a #5 with sawteeth and the grind looked like a standard 5 with ST added.

When ordering a Model #5-5" with sawteeth or sawteeth/ no sawteeth, you receive a Combat Companion blade. In the old days the shop made them custom...No more.
Hope this helps, Capt. Chris

Capt. Chris, does this mean it will have to be full tang then?
Thanks

There is a full-tang CC with a 3/16 blade, and a regular CC with a 1/4-inch blade. I'm pretty sure Capt. is referring to the regular CC with the 1/4-inch blade as being the substitute model 5 blade.

Correct. The photos I posted show stag, which is "only" available on CDT models, which a Model #5-5" and the Combat Companion I posted, both qualify as being.
Hope this isn't too confusing.
Best, Capt. Chris
